Privacy Policy

PostMe is operated by PSYNAPSIS AI LLP ("PostMe", "we", "us"), registered in India. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.
PostMe helps you plan, write, and publish professional social content. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.
1. Information we collect
Account information. Your name, email address, and password. If you sign up through a social login, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider instead of a password.
Your professional context. The industry, expertise, target audience, goals, and tone settings you provide so that PostMe can write in your voice. You can edit or clear this at any time in your settings.
Content. Drafts, scheduled posts, published posts, and any images you upload.
Connected accounts. Information we receive from LinkedIn when you connect it. See section 3.
Usage information. Pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, IP address, and timestamps. We use cookies to keep you signed in and to measure how features are used. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How we use your information
We use this information to create and maintain your account, to generate drafts that match your voice and goals, to publish content you have approved, to send you service messages such as verification and password resets, to provide support, and to keep the service secure.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
3. LinkedIn
Connecting your LinkedIn account is optional. Without it, PostMe can still draft content, but it cannot publish for you.
When you authorize the connection, LinkedIn shares your member ID, name, headline, profile picture, and the primary email address on your LinkedIn account. The authorization also allows PostMe to publish posts to your own feed on your behalf. We store the access tokens LinkedIn issues in encrypted form.
We use this only to show you which account a post will go to and to publish content you have written or reviewed and approved. Scheduling a post counts as approving it.
We do not sell or transfer LinkedIn information to anyone. We do not use it for advertising, prospecting, recruiting, or audience building. We do not use it to train AI models. We do not combine it with information from other sources to build profiles. We do not access your connections, your messages, or your feed, and we do not ask for permission to.
You can disconnect LinkedIn from your PostMe settings at any time. We delete your tokens immediately and delete all information received from LinkedIn within 30 days, including from backups. You can also revoke access from LinkedIn itself, under Settings and Privacy, then Data Privacy, then Permitted Services. Posts that have already been published remain on LinkedIn and can be deleted there.
Your use of LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn's own privacy policy.
4. How long we keep your information
We delete access tokens for connected accounts immediately when you disconnect them, and we delete all information received from LinkedIn within 30 days of disconnection or account deletion.
Your account details, professional context, and content are deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Server logs are kept for 90 days. Backups are purged on a rolling 30 day cycle.
5. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your information. Most of this you can do yourself: edit your professional context, disconnect accounts, delete individual posts, or delete your account entirely. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Security
We take the security of your information seriously and apply industry standard safeguards to protect it. Information is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. Credentials and access tokens are stored in encrypted form and are never held in plain text. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel, and is logged and monitored. We review our security practices regularly and maintain controls designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss of your information.
If a security incident occurs that puts your information at risk, we will notify affected users and the relevant authorities without undue delay. No system can be completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
7. Changes to this policy
We will post any updates on this page and revise the date above. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will notify you by email before it takes effect.
